Sorry if I continue with the questions but I would want to understand better some things:
Memoirs if the Cig. 36' Popeye was a new boat built for Visconsi or one former boat?
Do you know the serial number of the hull?
Do some magazines bring the builder of the Popeye 44' as Mands Marine is correct or MSV must be written?

There may have been two kevlar boats within that group.

The first raceboat for Halpbern was built in two months and raced right away. It would be halpbern's first race with the Cobra '38 - that will tell you what year.
What I would want to understand is if the Cobra 38' of caldente was really the ex third Beep Beep-that in Kevlar -or perhaps one of the 5 or 6 pleasure boats of which you speak.

The 38' ex caldente

The third Beep Beep that in Kevlar then rent to Doxford

One of two first Beep Beep and to right that it seems was prepared for Doxford. Both have the same version of different cover from that of 38' in Kevlar.

I HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE NAME COYOTE

If you worked at the Cigarette in that years are you in possibility to still remember the 36' competition build sequence ?
Example:
-Black Tornado(Balestrieri) hull 1
-Aeromarine I-KAM(Magoon) hull 2
-Blonde II(Hanks) hull 3
-Lady Nara(Bonelli) hull 4
-Starduster(Silvera) hull 5
-Boss O'Nova III(Wishnick) hull 6
-Innerspace(Gentry) hull 7
-Fino I(Rautbord) hull 8
-Fino II(Rautbord) hull 9
-Black Tornado II hull 10
-Copper Kettle(Satullo) hull 11
-Aeromarine III(Magoon) hull 12
-Dante's Inferno I(Tognoli) hull 13
-Blonde III(Hanks) hull 14
-Popeye(Visconsi) hull 15
-Eraf(De Angelis) hull 16
-Aeromarine IX(Bonomi) hull 17
-American Eagle I(Gentry) hull 18
-American Eagle II(Gentry) hull 19
-Sabre Dance(Taines) hull 20
-Slap Shot(Norris) hull 21
-Dante's Inferno II(Tognoli) hull 22
-Dry Martini(Bonomi 1973) hull 23
-Rock A Bye(Babin) hull 24

I know that it's a mission impossible to remember all but I hope that you can give me a little help to put order on this list.....
