Turkish Express on Ebay

I took this shot at Stock Island (in around 95) when the guys were just leaving the marina. I think Nuri (I assume that is him on the right) was probably looking down in the cockpit at something maybe and wasn´t paying attention - next thing you know they run aground on the coral opposite. Doh!!! They are just being dragged off by towrope.

I have some footage somewhere of that boat running at 110 taken from a helicopter for one of the ESPN shows. Are we allowed to post such footage on here?? If so I will try and transfer it in the near future onto a digital format. It sure was a beautiful solid performer once upon a time.

Turkish Express
I just happened to be traveling on I-55 north from St louis to Chicago this past week, and saw this boat next to the highway in a small town of Divernon, Ill, just south of Springfield. I'd never heard or seen this boat before so I did a search on here and found this post. I did stop and look, it seems fairly run down. But I bet it screamed in its hey-day. I'd love to see video of that. I've never heard a pair of lambos... would be a sweet resto project.

The owner of the boat is from Rochester NY It sat outside his construction company for a few years with the cover blowing off of it. He owned Nory Construction Co. which was a extremely large company at one time. Now the company is out of business. I heard that the boat at its best was one of the fastest. That boat looked hammered 4 years ago when it was sitting outside all the time.
