That Bertram is in ROUGH shape. I have pictures from 2 years ago someone sent me.

I hope somebody will restore this boat.

My Bertram 38 - Named: Needle Nose III, Was Hull #7 in the Bertram 38 Competition line. - All Glass - Sold eventually to Diamond Don Smith, now Kurt Groom owns it and it is a Great looking Pleasure boat !
Sammy James is still with us - talked to him recently - 85 and going strong - great memory too - He was rough on the boats on purpose, as Management wanted to know any weak point - Great Guy Sammy James !
As to Christex, it was owned by The Swap Shop - Ft. Lauderdale, Florida PRESTON Henn - then after Christex it was owned by Sal Scafid - then who knows !

Hello Phil, just had the Bertram last week. All good, runs around 87 mph now with current setup.
February 24 I will have owned her 20 years. 😳 Wow.
Just love the bad boy.
