Sure looks like the old Popeye ex Maggies Mercruiser, Windshield was from the era when we had to have wave deflection device, I raced the boat couple times, my bet is it`s popeye. especially the fact that it`s Aluminum, there were not to many in Aloy. 7XCHAMP

I am pretty sure the boat at Cumberland was the Maxon Boat. I know Ciasulli was restoring it and then Bought an OL , he probably traded it through LCM.

Thanks 7X and Ryan. Now that I hear that name Ciasulli, that sounds familiar. I contacted LCM about the boat last year and didn't get any race info, but the post-race story I got seems consistent with what Ryan is saying.

7XCHAMP: The BOSS boat was being stored by Barney of Skipper's Shipper in Jensen Beach, FL - is that where you saw it? Though he had it for years, I'm talking about 2003/04 when he finally got rid of it. It was intriguing to me because of the price and it's mammoth size.
