i just found a pair of joey's bolle racing goggles in the hull of the mich light boat. i have seen him wearing them in several pics of him racing. pretty cool find. i wish someone that wants to finish putting it back to gether would buy it. a guy is heading over to my house right now to make an offer, he wants to cut it up and make a center console boat with triple or quad eggbeaters, it tears me up thinking about it but i need to sell it.

How the hell did it take this long to find the goggles???
Sacrilege if you let it go this way - when you know it's ultimate demise. You have an opportunity to save a piece of history.
Remeber your Mistress? I remember after that wild-azz run we made, over dinner, you looked at me and said "we would've made Don proud today". This boat could also still have a life ahead.
Dude - you can't let the Mich Light get cut up into a gill-grabber.
I wish I had the coin to take her and finish what needs to be done. Just not in the cards for me at the moment.

I think it is kind of sick what is the inevetable for this boat........All these people on this site spend money hand over fist for new boat, but nobody wants to take the effort to save a piece of offshore racing history.......It is to much work for most....My last 7-8 years of my life has been spent searching a boat (old race boat) in my price range to restore with a limited budget...It really turns my stomach to see this boat go to waste............Good luck phil.........
I know one thing if i had the money for a new mti or skater, i sure in the hell would have a old school race boat sitting next to it the lift..........

Personally, I'd take the old-school boat over the MTI or Skater.
