I thought the A-32 boat Hauling Glass owned by T. Spangenberg from Brick, was originally A-33 Kamakazi owned by Pat in south Jersey.

I cant say for sure but I thought Kamakazi burned in or around '89. My friend raced his boat at Trumps that year as Kamakazi. Haulin' Glass never showed any signs of fire damage.

OK let's see what I can clear up.
Haulin' - Yes I was Bulldog. I was the do whatever needs to be done guy.
Kamikaze was owned by Pat Lauer. I racer with her son Rob and his friend Don. There were multiple people in and out of the boat when I ran with them 1990-94 (A-33). (That 29' Mirage became Haulin' Glass.) Pat didn't let her husband know that she couldn't run in the boat so we used to say she ran w/ Rob and Don, long story. Anyway, Pat lives in Barnegat and still owns a vintage 39' Cig pleasure boat called Midnight Express.
Pat's first race boat was also a 29' Mirage she raced in the late 80's. That one was sold 89ish and went to Fla. That is the boat that burned to the waterline. Haulin' Glass did not burn, however we did split the transom on that in '93 during the Point Pleasant race and almost sank it. That boat took a beating and kept coming back for more. I will try and find some pics to download.

Thanks Tom that cleared up a lot...it is neat to know the history of the boat we bought!!
We now own the old Hauling Glass boat and she will be making a come back in OPA and looks like we will be calling her Whoz Your Daddy!! She is all white right now, so would be neat to see what she looked like before she was the yellow Hauling Glass boat.
We got the boat from the guy that bought the boat from Eric who called it Hauling Glass.
If you find any pictures it would be great it see them!! If you wouldn't mind e-mailing them to me my address is [email protected].
Thanks Doris & Michael
