Default 30FT Donzi outboard......anybody know anything about this boat?????

Heres what the owner told me about the boat: molds were shipped from Italy to US in late 70's, and around 6 of these were made by Donzi for OMC to test motors and race with.......the boat measure 30 feet, had a ballast tank in the front and around 100 gallon fuel tank in the rear....set up for outboards and a very heavy lay up......owner says the boat raced in the bahamas races for a couple of years....also had somebody tell him its an aronow design....what do you guys think???

-------Late 70s was in the Staples-Genth era of ownership. They were into big production numbers back then. I just dont see them getting in to a small project like this and this is definetly not a late 70s production DONZI of any kind, which was stated. Boat has good lines though!!!.......Bill S
