We ran 60 inches of mercury I think equated out to as much as 20 psi ???????? I`m sure someone will tell us different, but that`s my recall. When we ran the UIM motors, big blocks destrocked to 355 inches in the Skater which set the Kilo record in 1994 those motors dyno`ed out at almost 1,200 hp and turned 8,500 rpm. I think at the time we were the inovators for the high rpm valve trains etc. The bad thing about those motors was that below 5,000 rpm they were dead. When they passed the 7,000 range they sounded like 747 turbine fans on take-off, that`s when you knew they were working, we had a lot of good times. 7XCHAMP

Hey Jim, You Have To Stop With These Pic's !!! Now I Really Feel Old. Post 3 Last Pic. Was Kurt's Smokey & The Bandit, I Think It Was Bam In The Red Cig, Chris Varn Ran A Vipor ( I Think ) . It's Just Like The One Smitty Races From Wazzup. I Was Racing A 30 Ft Panther On The Far Outside. I Still Race It Today With Opa. I Think The Black Boat Was A Pantera With O/bs. There Was Another Boat We Always Raced Against I Think It Was Called Fish Pedler, A Cat With O/bs & C-100 Heat Is On Was A Manta,( I Think ) ... Dam That Was A Long Time Ago.
