At what speed does this boat start to pack air? Does it start to run well at 80mph and above?
Would like to talk to someone who has experience running this type of boat in the ocean.
Thanks,
Chris

My experience with that boat is it will pack enough air to ride flat on the sponses at 58-60mph. ( unless your running into the wind then it's a little less). The boat rides better than anything 38' long I've been in, especially when it's rough. It truly rides right on top of the water. I have many hours in this hull and would be happy to try to answer any questions you have.

Hey Errol... its been a long time.
38', "Seahawk" approx 55 w/ ASD 10's. Surface drives tend to promote more air-flow thus more "ground" effect.
My old 37(ex dirty laundry which went to Errol) approx 62 w/ # 6's. Errol could tell you what the same boat did w/ ASD's as "Rivited"
My old 38(ex Michelob Light/ Beep Beep which became Cabrera and then AJ jr and Mr Roberts) approx 70 w/ ssm 3's
