I had her work on Sheer Terror, at Harbor 1. I thought Keith was going to kill me. Nothing got done for the whole day, but it was worth it. For an extra bengie, she went total. Ah, the good ole days!!!

I don't know what made me think about her this morning...... I must be getting old. She painted the "Boasty Lady" at Maul Lake Marina early eighties. 40 foot Mathews end of A dock, right when you came in and out of Harbor one and Rum Runners. I lived there for a few years in those wonderful years and spent most of my nights fishing at Rum Runners and working my shop, The Ship Shop. Maybe you know the place? With Tim Breuil....
Last time I saw Barbara, Bikini, and her whack husband was in Key West, the week before Hurricane Andrew. They were in their big yellow trimaran anchored out. Never saw her again. She was good. Not cheap ( the price I mean) but good (the work I mean) She drew a crowd wherever she performed. On one of the times she worked for me it was cold out. She wore a fur coat and a brush (paint that is) and nothing more.
What a great time to have money, a boat and a pocket full of Trojans....
