Sick sick SICK resto!!!! I love those old Cougars - and this one is BY FAR the sweetest I've seen! Be curious to hear how Tommy's motors run in it - I have heard good things about those turbos.
What's the story with the two digital displays above the big display on the helm side of the dash? I have seen those used before - are they just tachs, or are they multi-function displays?

Yes Rob,................just tape to protect it and you can also lay your cut out lines etc. on it rather than on the paint.
I've left tape on up to Three weeks before replacing it.
Depends on heat or if the sun is on it drying it out. Then you might want to change it within the week depending on what you are doing.

Thanks. Id be afraid of the blue paper getting dirt behind it and scratch, or the beige tape pulling the paint with it???

theyre part of tommys engine management program. his electronics are second to none when it comes to taking a big block chevy and bringing it up to date.......
