Ended up with a rather cool & special jacket from ebay. The jacket has lots of embroides, and the one on the back is this.

This was Jerry Jacoby's Boat... originally called the Ajac Hawk, the Cigarette after winning the 81 world championships... then Fabrge' Super Brut after being bought by Craig Berry. Great boat.

And; OH YEAH! I`m interested!!! Went to my first offshore race in -86 and has been an offshore fan since then. Love these old boats. Could never afford any of these beauties, so I ended up with models. So far I have the 1987 "Colibri" (60", one-of-a-kind) and the 1974 Miss Embassy (62", extremly rare) as rc models. Soon I will also have a huge scale C.U.V 41-hull in my "collection", that probably will end up as Gancia dei Gancia or Annabella.
Also have a Skater 399 (57") ready to be rigged with staggered & Arnesons...and 9 other offshore class gas & nitro racers...
Hmm... maybe if had`nt spent all my money on models, I could have had a real one...
I`ll buy that book! Thanks again! You guys are the Wikipedia of offshore for sure.
Edit: Oh, sorry... Now I realized it; you`re the editor? I`ve heard alot of the stories from that era, but from the reviews I just has to read this! Guess it was an exiting time in many ways back then.
