i gotta say, that actually completely blew me away. It's nice to see someone take the original parts and actually "restore" them and not just throw everything away and put all new gear on. A++++++ Thankyou for taking the time to share those pics with us!

Most people think of Don Aronow when thinking of Offshore Racing but Dick Bertram won the 1960 Miami-Nassau race with Griffith.
The Bertram 38 Competitions are gorgeous boats also.

We had a great time with the Baron this summer but it was time to put her up for the winter. We had so many people come up to us asking us who made the boat and they thought it was brand new and couldn't belive it when we told them it was over 40 years old. This thing loves the big water of the atlantic. The few times we had it out in the open ocean it handles the 5-6 foot seas with no problem. We actually had the coast guard snapping pictures of us running and I would have loved to see the pictures to see what it looked like coming out of the water. I want to thank everyone for the great comments and have a good winter.
