Pete (Scippy) check out the thread regarding "Power Hungry Magnum" about 10 threads down-I know you love Magnums, I helped identify another one.
I love these restore projects! Anyone remember the 28 Bertram race boat from NJ, named either Babe or Baby??

Very interesting trail especially with it's varied alter-ego's (names).....Jersey to great lakes to florida and now to Ontario....how long ago did you spot her in Manalapan?........... I 've been given credit , but you were more responsible for finding "plum crazy"....."you, Magnum hound you!!

I don't think the original windshield looks bad but I'm looking for something that will go better with the classic look of the wood. I'm going for the hull and performance of the Bertram with the style and design of a Riva. I think it should be a good mix.

Its been a few weeks since I've been able to find time to get more work completed on the Baron but here are a few pictures. Ive started reinstalling some of the wiring, strainers and fuel lines back into the engine compartment. The second picture is of a template I had made for the rear seat.

These are the drawers under the gunalls. The latch hardware is from southco and the slides are stainless. They are only 8"x12" but should be enough to keep a set of binoculars and others misc. stuff.
