I think your right Ryan. Bill ran S-class also, with stock 200's. Won S-class 3 consecutive years in a row. That black 22 in the photo was the old Tabu, which you see, is C-class. The old video of him running in those 22's was some of the best rough water running I still, to this day, have ever seen. We built the royal blue gelcoat 30 O/B raceboat as light as we could in those days, which included laminating full length bamboo(slit in half) down the hullsides. Every Velocity boat that went out of the Pompano plant, had two bottles of Captain Maintained wax & cleaner inside. Bill had a bad cancer scare & had to give up racing the 30 kinda early on. Hope he is still with us, great guy.
