Yep, still do. Takes some patience and practice but works fine. Tell ya the truth I have always liked a nice balanced laminate on the heavy side as uposed to a bagged out thin layup. Everything has it's place but I like some "heft" to my ride

Looks like ya got some fun stuff to play with there.

How thick are you going to make your transom and what power are you going with ? I doulbled the thickness on my 32 Skater and made a mold to lay-up a motorwell as my 1988 32 Skater never had one . Keep up the work and I feel your pain

Looks good , plenty thick and I'd install a couple of gussets .
Why two layers of balsa over tunnel ?

Hey Sharkey - is that the old "Docksider?" If so it always busted holes in itself!

If I recall correctly, "Docksider" later became "Insanity". I think "Apollo" was different boat.

just a little o2,,before you start laying up the transom you will want to reinforce the outside of it,the heat from the resin may make it all waive, don't clamp directly to the transom, cut 2 1'' pieces of plywood and clamp the inner ply to the outer ply so it stays straight..
