Inferno also had Patterson headers.
Stan Pike was the 1st owner
It was the 1st 30 Sutphen race boat built.
Staggered set up.
T.R.S. with speedy feet
Stan changed the cams & the boat would not go up on plane. We would tow him at about 20mph until it got up on step in quite a few races.

I remembered being towed at a some of the races.
Thank you

There's a vintage Sutphen on a storage rack in Key Largo at Pilot House Marina . . . SSM drives and purple/orange paint if memory serves. Looked like a 33' as it had the large, boxy engine hatches. Just saw it last Sunday, but my memory is failing me as to the name on the hullside.

Crash,
That looks like a 30'. Is it for sale by a guy named Frank, in Miami? Pair of 496 BBC strokers and Bravos? If so, I know the owner, I had my shop build the engines that are in it for my 35' Cigarette, but never had a chance to use them, and sold them to Frank with 0 hours. They dyno'd just around 600HP/600TQ. Best of the best with reliability.
The boat in Key Largo was definitely a 33', it had the squared engine hatch/transom.
