Both races start off Port Washington, NY. That is the top of Long Island near the NYC side......both groups start together and run East toward Orient Point.

The Bill Wishnick race stops at Orient Point and the other boats keep going..... Around Long Island .....until they get back to the Port Washington start / finish line.

Bill Wishnick race is 100 miles long.

Geez, how many gas stops are you gonna have to make?! Don't you only have like a 60 gallon tank in that thing?

To have the highest safety factor, you really need to have a helicopter and dive team over canopy boats...remember Key West?..They had all the safety boats they needed, but it still wasn't enough.
