Awesome job, i love reading all the stories from the old days. i have one of tommys 27s as well it was called the riddler raced out of VA beach VA. I have read that tommy was Don's good friend and Dons the one who helped him design and get the signature line up and going , And sonic did not come from signature, sonic came from coyote that came from banana boat. im sure top banana can tell more of the history on that. lets see more pics of that baby.

H2O, That is the same boat! I did move the cockpit forward about a foot to have more room. I also added the windshield because the previous owner had totally removed the dash so there was nothing. MidOcean thanks for sharing that video, just like a movie! Do you think I could find a name to who ever titled my boat? Someone had to aply for it. LOTOWONTOPGUN I did call that guy with the 27' molds but he has not returned my call. Do you think that there is only one mold? or could there be more?

Ran across this ad. Looks like a copy of the 27' Signature - a set of molds.

Tommy Adams and Don were not friendly, Tommy built the Signature plant on 188th Street next to Cigarette and put a huge sign on the side of the building that said "If you like Cigarette, you will love Signature." I am sure Top Banana remembers the rivalry as do many others on this board. They were the wild days on 188th Street.
