I think the boat you are looking for was in Valdosta Ga at Winsel's Boats last year. There address is 2330 US 41 South. Phone is 229-244-6500. Fax is 229-245-8532. Website is www.winseboats.net.
It says 1988 World Champ on it. Gentry Turbo Eagle. #9. I showed a pic of it to Richie Powers and he said that it is the boat he raced with Don Johnson. If I remember right he said it was all Kevlar.
No interior, no motors, and no drives, but sitting on the org. trailer. It did have tabs on it. Was told it could be bought very cheap.

Sonny's got two partners in that boat. I met them about 10 years ago or so. Back then they were real eager to sell. That is one fine piece if you can get your hands on it. I think it's still in the Valdosta area. It was rigged with two of his Cal 500 drives the last time I saw it. There's also a black dually tandem axle trailer.
