Greetings from New Zealand, 86Nova2 and welcome to Off Shore Only. I guess by US standards you travelled a fair old distance to get your boat. I finally purchased a nice 85 Nova 230XL from North Carolina. Straight line distance to my home here in NZ is 8385 miles, but took 3 months by ship, plus the land miles to Miami. Things one does to get a really stylish old school rig.......

I have always always wanted one of these old novas for some reason they are just so tough to me and there is not any around me I am aware of and a young man and single (23) I had to have a twin engine loud Wellcraft lol!! Heres some pictures!! don't make fun of it to much.....I got to fix the pin stripe's on the side but other than that she don't even have a dock bruise on it, and it don't even need wax. I just rub pledge on it from time to time

What do you mean, "don't make fun of it". It is a great looking example and I just love that colour scheme. Mine didn't come with the teak capping around the windscreen but that is changing with the rebuild. I would say you have done very well with your purchase.
