Motor rebuilding. Need advice..
Can any one help?
I have a 30 ft Baja boat with twin 454's
I have replaced the heads with huge Brodix heads , Single plane intake to match the heads, 850 Quick fuel carbs, all marine MSD cap rotor plug wires spark boxes, etc.
I have new full length headers that will be dry exhaust all the way to the tips going out the back of the boat. My blocks are at my engine builder right now getting all freshened up! My question is can anyone give me advice on a bad ass cam spec to make these engines come alive?? I want serious idle!

Huge and Bad Azz huh ?
That doesn't tell us anything.
How about part #'s, names, specs ?
==============================
If all you want is a 'serious idle'......build a Jet Boat where you can run as high as an idle as you want when put into gear.

All I can tell you is the heads are much larger then the stock heads. Intake and exhaust valve are bigger then stock. Intake is a victor single plain and the carbs are marine 850 quick fuels. Sorry I can't tell you much cause I'm new to engine building, etc. I want roller cams and rockers etc. My blocks are stock but I want to put better cams in then stock. Something with noticeable idle. I also have mercury stull modules installed to stall the motors for a sec when putting into gear. Idle is not an issue.

This is going to be direct to the point:
For most of us to help you, we need more detailed info. If we can't help you, we won't, because we can't. Understandable ?
This is how information and data works: Garbage in = Garbage Out
For now we'll need
Exact:
Flame Arrestors
Carburetor
Intake Manifold
Cyl Heads / valve sizes / springs and rates
Pistons / Compression with your heads + headgasket. No wild azz guesses
Crank and rods
Fuel pump, line sizes, pick up size, anti siphon valve or not
That's it for now.

OK, first, you said you had 330's. with a single plain and "monster heads" along with wanting an "idle" you have the potential for building a motor that wants to spin. and actually make some hp.
If you do that with a 330 crank and rods, even a fresh 330 crank and rods, you will be picking scrap metal out of your now self draining oilpan. Merc put a 4600 rpm rev limiter on that motor, you want to build a motor that is just waking up at that rpm.
