Sell or Part-Out my 1988 Formula 311SR1
Got a "project " I started a few years ago and lost interest. I built all new top to bottom 572,s that dynoed 735HP, Konrad 540PRS Drives, Hueber Transmissions, full hydraulic steering, all new upholstery, all new stereo....you get the picture. Spent WAY more than its worth but I liked it . Previous owner wasnt so kind to her and the exterior is not so nice. New paint or a wrap and would be complete ..Whats it worth?? Less than 50 hours on all the new stuff. Decent trailer too. Pain in the ass to part but I "feel" I would get more $$ that way?? Your thoughts??

I may know a buyer for the Konrads if you part it

Hey, did you by chance buy the Konrads off me? If I recall correctly, you have some pretty nice engines also. I think you could still get about $15K for that drive package, plus those trans. They were built up and brand new from Huber. Everything was brand new, plus those engines would most likely sell for a good price. Unsure what else you have, but selling these boats can be a painful process as a whole. I would think you can part it out and make a little more (+10%?), but depends what your time is worth to you.... What's your asking price for the entire boat?

Awe man, you spent so much time on it! It is certainly frustrating. I just had all the structurals and more redone on mine. I completely understand where you're at.
I'm at 2.5X spend what mine is worth in a really strong market. Sell for $28-30, part out for $50??? Depends what little stuff you have in it, it all adds up really quick. $5K for trailer, etc. Hard to say without seeing it

Michigan is a little far for me to travel for a hull. It’s hard to find a hull that people haven’t butchered when stripping or doesn’t have trees growing out of the hull around here
