Default Need some info on a 10 meter fountain twin turbo

Good afternoon Gentlemen, long time lurker of the site, Just picked up a very clean 10 meter fountain (87) year model. Boat has twin 454 475hp twin turbo gale banks set ups with methanol injection. Appears to have older speedmaster lowers.Any info on this boat would be greatly appreciated. Can add photos if that helps identify the boat. Thanks in advance for the help.

Adding photos will definitely help but you can’t post photos until you’ve made 10 post. (It’s an inbuilt security measure) Make 9 more posts, just post anything, number 1, number 2, number 3 etc until you get there.

Also, tell the Fountain guys what you want to know, anything specific…??

Welcome to oso!

Nomads please post the photso when you are able to. The Mercruiser 475 HP twin turbo boats are pretty rare. They were a good design back when Gale Banks designed them, but have the inherent problems of fuel puddling in the turbos. I have 2 Scarabs that have the 475 HP turbo engines. A 1980 377 Flat deck and a 1980 30" S-type. Hit me up when you can and we can discuss your boat. Ive been into the Turbo boats for a long long time.

Man you guy's are quick... Thanks for the quick replies. Sorry about the vague first post.
Here's some context to the boat. Picked the boat up from an auction complete boat all original. As far as i can tell. Unfortunately both motors cracked in a freeze. With that being said I have already pulled both motors and blocks are on the way to the machine shop getting Era correct blocks using the existing cranks everything else will be new. I'm wondering what compression these motors where, what kind of boost these turbos are putting out ect.. Note: these motors have factory 3 gallon methanol injection set ups and look to be on boost referenced solenoids.? Looking for any motor specs before I start ordering rods cams lifters ect...
also looking for any info on the boat itself. I will get pictures as soon as the site releases me from posting jail...Unfortunately someone painted "Miami vice" on the side also in the process of removing that. Not a big deal and coming off easier than expected. Has older speed master drives and looking for prop ideas as this boat did not come with any. Sorry for the long winded post. Just can't find any info ANYWHERE on this boat and would like to know it's history.

Like Rak Rua said, get your post count aqbove 10 then you can post pictures. once you post a pic of the engines Ill be able to tell if they are Mercruiser Turbo engines of someone put a Gale Banks kit on them. But most likely since they are SSM II drives, they are Mercruiser.
