So i found a very nice martini with a 700hp 565 and a new xr outdrive and a bunch of other things.
I have been reading this is a great handling boat and easier to drive fast compared to a bunch of other boats its size.
Only turn off is the cuddy needs carpet and cushions and i imagine they are impossible to find.
How would this boat compare to say a checkmate convincer 251?

Congratulations on a very desirable classic boat. The Martini has a 6" wider beam and doesn't have a pad. The pad helped the Convincor to a higher top speed,
but is not able to give as smooth of a ride in chop as the Martini. You owe us some photos of the boat, and where are you located? As far as the interior there's
no need to worry about original. It's all about picking the right marine interior shop that does quality work. The most important thing to ask Yourself is what's Your
objective when using the boat and get an interior that matches that.

As a 251 Convincor owner I’d agree w/all the above.
For a 25’ boat, my Convincor is a beast in the rough but I don’t think as good as a Martini.
And while I’ve only seen pictures, 1positive for the Convincor is cabin size.
We weekend and ours and as I recall the martini is much smaller.
If you’re only using it as a day boat, who cares :-)
