On the 12th of August 1990, Chuck Norris and company set the new Chicago to Detroit record. Michael Reagan had set
the previous record with his triple outboard Team Scarab 38 by Larry Smith in 1983.

The 1986 Team Scarab 46 had twin Cat 3208 diesels with 450 hp and Kiekhaefer drives.
