Coming around to the Cobalt way of life I see..... exciting.

Yes, 343's had an option for a genset. Pretty close to the perfect boat in my opinion.

Just finalized and paid for an 05' 343 today. Boat has 496's with a great survey report. Should have in Oklahoma around Dec. 10 - 15 range. Can't wait to see in person.

RebarBox, I owned an 04 343 with 496's, then went off and bought a 36 Nortech supercat, blew up a motor, bought a 30 Eliminator Daytona, great boat, had the opportunity to sell it a couple of months ago and get all my money back after 3 seasons, so I did. Made an offer on another 343 and didn't get it done. Last week the guy I sold my 343 to emailed me and said if I'd like to have it back he'd sell it to me. I'll be going to get it soon. They are great boats, attract quite a bit of attention. We are Oklahoma, Lake Tenkiller folk but we took the 343 to LOTO a couple of time on Shootout week. The 343 takes the big lake water really well. There are a few little things about them that I remember having issues with. If you want to visit about it, post here, or PM me or something, be glad to visit with you. Best of luck with the new boat, you'll love it?

Thank you for the reply.Boat should be in Oklahoma in about a week or so. I have never bought a boat without seeing or riding in first, but the survey came back excellent. I know Cobalts have the same build quality as the Cigarettes and very optimistic this 343 will meet my expectations,

Home and in the dock. A few issues with it that surveyor failed to note but overall pleased. Hope to run a little bit before any weather sets in.

I am probably preaching to the choir!

We have been blessed with a 2000 226 Cobalt 7.4 MPI Bravo 3. All I will say is that we have had this boat now going on 3 seasons It has just about 450 hours and I have not tightened one screw-- everything is a tight as a drum. Yes, the Cobalt brand does charge a lot more for a boat - but it is worth every penny. I'm sure there are other boats that are as high quality but for sure Cobalt has hit the mark.

As I've said numerous times -- You can buy new oats or you can but the oats that have gone thru the horse -- those come a little cheaper.

Merry Christmas to everyone - Happy Holiday's -

I wish all a very healthy and prosperous new year -- filled with hours of safe boating !!
