Congrats man. Sounds awesome. I just ordered a 2010 232 with a 496 HO and Bravo 3 X drive. I am switching from a 5.7GIDP and have read some issues with the Bravo 3. I am hoping it was the older units.
Good luck with your new boat.

I doubt it will break 70 on a GPS or radar.....just isnt set up for it. It might be close. Is the HP there to do it? Yes. But the method for putting the HP in the water isnt. Your pro selection is severely limited too.....probably be swapping drive ratios to take advantage of what you can a hold of.

What was the final verdict?
I have a 282 with a single mag(375HP) with the duo prop and bravo drive My speedo says 52 mph, which I am surprised I get up on plane so fast and can break 50 with only a single mag. twin 425 hp's should be very fast, it is a great running boat.
