Talking Considering moving 25 Baja OL to 30 concept

Hy guys! Looking at buying a concept!!
Lake gets pretty rough and we like taking kids (2 & 5) to beach in gulf.

So.. Considering making jump to 2k 30 concept with merc 250 efi's
Fuel versus my 454 mag?
Rough water ride compared to 25 OL vs 28ft riding surface on 30 cc with K-planes. (assuming Gil bracket is included in LOA I think)??
Boat has lean post with no back rest??? Opinions and/or can you add? Seems rough water would knock you around a bit??

Kids would have more room to run around, so we could go boating more and not worry about 3ft plus chop. OL handles it fine, but a little too bumpy for kiddies!!

Thanks for your help!!

i made that move 4 years ago went from 32 velocity to 30 concept w/225 efi
burned more fuel and oil than my 2, 7.4 MPI
was much lighter so was bumpy in rough stuff
no noise of the big blocks
had leaning post w/backrest and fold down arch +
more walk around room + more people can ride
more stylish than velocity(my opinion) great looking boats
back in a 29 fountain now, I would go back to cc with different motor options and a few different features
