Default 36 concept performance with 350 & 400R verados

Getting ready to purchase motors soon, I'm curious what performance to expect out of this hull with a set of verado 350's and if it's worth looking at the 400r's. It be nice to know some performance numbers and prop sizing for this boat. It's an 2002 hull non step.. Thanks.

A guy on the Concept FB page is seeing at least 78 w/400's. Not sure if he hit 80 yet.

There was 2 guys around here that swapped the 350s to 400s last year both are 36' concepts and from what they told me they didn't gain much with the swap it was around 1 to 2 mph ...to me it didn't make sense but I'm guessing the weight but i think they are both around 680 lbs ...to me more hp and same weight would equal more speed ....I don't know very much about outboards and their performance tho

One of the newer stepped 36's just touched 80mph with twin 400's and jack plates. If I'm not mistaken, that might be the fastest concept right now.

If they are the same weight well you just added 100hp to the back so it should be faster.

At 680lb they are big girls.
