Default 36 Concept or 32 Renegade Cuddy

Which boat is the best in rough water? The concept is obviously longer, but the Renegade is about 2000 lbs heavier.

Interesting question.

The Concept is 5200 lbs w/out power. I dont know if the Renegade lists weight with motors or not. I'm guessing 7500 lbs is with motors. Also, the Concept has a 24 degree dead rise and the Renegade has a 22 degree dead rise. Given the above, I would think the Concept will be better in rough water.

I think the Concept would be slightly better in rough conditions. It’s very hard to beat waterline length.
Both nice looking boats. 🙂

Thanks. I assumed the Renegade weight was dry but you might be right. The Renegade does have a 24 degree dead rise, the draft is 22 degrees.
