CPBA Runs and GTG's on the water
Before the season many expressed interest in going places and doing things together as a group. While a few of us have gone to Claudio's or the Pavilion together, we haven't really done all that much running and hanging out together.
What I'd like to propose is making a couple of scheduled runs to certain destination together. This way everyone can plan accordingly and I suspect the outcome will be a little better than our impromptu plans.
Frank mentioned something in another thread about a BI run. Let's do it and make it an overnight and do it near the end of August so the water is water is warmer and the night time temps are cooler... Seriously, lets do this!
Why not a trip to Montauk together? Either day trip or over night...
Let's get some runs planned and then post in the NE section for others to join as they wish.

No, I think the boat likes to run in big water... it's just the owner is a river rat at heart that doesn't want to stray far from home!
Sounds like there will be a lot of us doing the OS poker run on Saturday if anyone else is interested. It should be a good time and based on the boats Ive heard about, there will be some impressive boats attending!
I understand they are really going to stress trying to keep the boats together in a couple of packs (and I'm planning on taking it easy too), so don't sweat it if you dont have a 90 mph boat... it wont be needed to have a good time.
