I'm looking at purchasing a 2006 DCB F-29, anyone know how fast this boat will run with twin Ilmor 625's?? Also, how many hours are they good for before they need freshened up?

I had an 06 F 32, not vacuum bagged, with 625's and it ran 120 at 1,500 ft. The 29 should run closer to 125. Not sure on the rebuild but I would guess those motors go 150 to 200 hours easy. The only down side to those motors is the altitude and heat sensitivity. Not a big deal but you will lose 5-7 mph over 100 degrees and I would guess 2 mph every 1,000 ft in elevation.

I just bought a f-29 575s, this is the most solid boat ive owned, I was a die hard baja fan in the past, they have thought of everthing in this boat. Everywhere I go people stop to look and ask questions. Cant go wrong with this ride.
