Why no innercooler? That is a must have on a marine application.

Not alwayz Brad , i know guys taking off the intercoolers and runnin water /meth inj 20 lbs boost & runnin flawlessly ...

Do you have to use the rear offset blower, if not you can have the blower turned around with a front offset and the dist clears easily.

MSD 84891
"Flattop" dimension from the mounting flange on the intake manifold to top of the cap: 4.76". Per MSD today.

Thanks for the compliments Jeff1000.

The down side to running front offset is the huge load you put on the crank snout. In our case, it is already responsible for sea pump, steering pump, dry sump pump, and alternator. Then, you hang the blower belt in front of that you you now have a twisting moment of 3 to 4 inches. Crank and bearings will not be too happy. Also, you are moving distribution away from the cylinders that run inherently lean on BBC's.

Hows the Skater working Brad? I would like to hear what you think about the exhaust configuration - ie. noise and performance. Any reversion issues?

Not that it matters, but everything stays the same with either offset. When you turn the blower around you just use a very short snout instead of the standard snout. I used the same crank pullie in the same locations, no spacers. The Dist. is also still a standard dist coming staight out of the intake.

That seems like a good solution, was there any change in fuel distribution (to the cylinders)?
You can easily work on the distributor too.
Did you have TBS turn the case around?
