If you are just talking tach and so on then I don't think I would try to do that, just get regular guages. What I am talking about is to turn your non smart craft engines so that that data can show up on your GPS.

ok, I should have been more specific. I am looking to use a vessleview with non smartcraft engines. I am wondering if there was a conversion.

No way to do it that I am aware of. The problem with that I think is that Merc kind of uses their own data stream. Now you can get almost all that info up on your GPS if you want to do that.

ok, Thanks.. Will it work with the Northstar GPS systems..? didnt see info saying it would.

It should yes. Just check with Northstar what guages that they allow you to display on their GPS. Every manufacturer will be a little different. The nice thing is that with software they can be changed so just because a particular guage is not available on the GPS today does not mean that it will not be available next year.
