I'm looking to get some feedback on anyone that has done away with the float style and went to the stick style. I believe they are offered by livorsi. I looked at dana marine and eddie marine, didn't see them. I hear the stick style is the way to go for better accuracy. Any feedback, or where you did purchase it from.

Ive been using the stick style for yrs and they are dead accurate you just have to remember to peel the bark off the stick first or it may clog your fuel lines also keep a roll of duct tape handy for taping up the hole you poked in the top of the tank

I did. It works good. I would recommend calibrating when the boat is at the attitude you want, either cruising attitude, or sitting with the nose up. Easily done with the trailer jack.
