I have '02 27 Founatin Fever with a 500 EFI. I sucked up a rock and destroyed my raw water pump. I replaced it and backflushed the system several times. I now notice that my water pressure stays at 15lbs and sometimes goes to 20lbs. Pressure doesn't change wether in water or on the hose. With engine off/key on still reads 15lbs or where ever the guage read last time it was run. Wire connections are good. How do I test the sending unit or guage?

Chances are the hose is plugged within the first foot of where it connects to the engine.
I finally had to replace an entire hose as I couldn't get it clear. Sand will just pack in harder with air pressure. I tried 150psi and couldn't get it to blow out.

Don't blow thru it unless you have it loose from the block,
I took a coat hanger jabbing the inside of the hose while someone blew on the gage side, also had to twist and shake it around to get the sand/rust loose, Ended up running the hose to the water crossover, It jumps around more but doesn't stop up.I don't think you can tap into the water cir on the front of to motor

Sorry I haven't responded back to you guys, Uncle Sam called and I've been jumping through hoops to get ready for short notice deployment, Iraq. I will checkout the water pressure line going to the guage over the next coupe of days.
Thanx again.
