Default "Zoomer" Tailpipes So far so good.

The zoomers are through bolted- you can see the bolts and the plate in the pict where Ive got my hand inside it.

You can see the bolts and the mount plate in the 2 engine compartment picts

The line item in the invoice was 1K. (I notice they don't show you the prices on the website! I believe I have part # API 1050 )

#1 Imco Gatlins - all SS first choice - had a clearance issue
#2 Cmi's-All SS use a spring that stretches and they sound like cans rattling after 20-30 hours
#3 zoomers - All SS have welded flow "circulator" thats effective and they look pretty neat.

I can take closer pictures if you are interested.

Uncle Dave

You can hear them in the video section under "Ilmor 710 Singing" Ill post a movie of their sound at idle soon. They seem to be a great compromise between sound level and performance "restriction".

The relatively small cubic inch ilmor 710 barks pretty nice.

Hey UD,
Why did you opt for a naked bilge (exposing the glasswork)?

They do sound good on my 600s. Unfortunately they get ugly with serious corrosion and rust. The stainless seems to be of very low quality!!!!!!!!!!!

Simple matter of personal preference.
I like the contrast between the engine & bilge.

Lavey will do whatever you want.

Quents boat looks like mine and they painted the bilge in the same scheme as the boat.
