I take it everything else checked out fine. The cog should do wonders, Procharger tested a 540 with AFR heads and a cog system, made almost 1600hp. Does your mounting bracket use spacers between the blower and head ?

Yes here is a pic.
Yep Jim said the M-5 needs a cog system, they are honoring the warrantee, he said the blower is designed for a cog system and can handle it. I got the race blow off valve, it will all be in tomorrow. they said the system they are sending will make about 15psi @ 6400rpm. i will let you know how it goes.
The linkage has a WOT stop and is a progressive setup, but great idea.

Sounds like they are taking care of you, that's great. Did you use 3/8 or 7/16 bolts ? We had trouble with the stock mounting bracket. Watch that thing when you make your next pull to see how much it moves.

They really did take care of me, I paid for the blow off valve and shipping, They are giving me everything else I need at no charge.
I did use the 7/16 bolts, I am sure it will more some, I may have to reinforce the blower to keep it more rigid. I forget what did you end up doing?

I added a 1 inch billet back plate, the spacers recess into it. It bolts to the stock mounting bracket in 3 places. Then I used 7/16 studs to attach the whole assembly to the motor. My brother built his own mounting bracket. He used 7/16 studs also, either way seems to work pretty well.

Its seems to be allways something. Procharger failed to send the hub for the supercharger.... with the cog system the pulllleys mount on a hub. So another day on the dyno racking up fees... What has it been just over a week on the dyno. So the hub wil get there tomorrow and lake george is in an area where overnight is before 4:30pm not 10am. So maybe it will get a run but for sure take another day setting up the EFI on the top end. Because it never made it there with any boost yet. I decided not to hold up the enevitable and install 1.36 gears in the lower. My new prediction is it will be in the boat and watertested by next week. but who knows I dont dare say. but I can say when its done it willl be perfict...

Don't let it get you down, we've all been there, it will be worth it when it's done.

Yeah me to, its always something when you beat to a different drum. If I wanted easy and what everyone else has I would have done the Whipple. I am not that person. Give me a challenge make if different, life on the edge keeps me going. in the end the thing will be by far the fastest Kryptonite out there, and my wife will be able to dock it. Next year it will be a smoking fast cat and if I do twins the next motor I will know exactly what to do, it will be a much faster to build. Imagine what two of these will do in a 36 Spectra or Skater with #6 drives... 170mph or so?? Already planning for the next build and this one is not done yet, lol
Gary,
Hope you can make it to the Glen Harbor Summer Bash June 26th. Follow the Pirates run topic in the Poker run section for details. My event follows there BBQ Saturday, same place.
