The blower bracket is all apart, the new design is mocked up. Everyone is just way too busy with the long weekend upon us. I expect after this weekend is over maybe Monday it will be together after all the mods. Tuesday I am back @ Perf Marine and hope to be finalized it on the dyno... Then installing the motor in the boat, and new drive gears 1.36. As with the whole project this is all up in the air. We are well in to uncharted waters, its always something to mill, drill, design, order more parts, you know the drill.. The good news is when its done, the second to go into the 32-36 Skater will be much easier..I will post as soon as I can.
I am also freshing up the motor I took out of it so when I pull the new motor I will have something to put into it to sell. Its a Bowtie, with Crower 4.125 crank, rods, and Ross pistons .070 over. World Products heads with extensive port work by MRD, T&D setup, solid Isky red zone lifters. Bradswell 1150 carb. It pushed the boat 90 and idled well, I imagine a few mph more with the bore job and freshen up. the cylinders were scored, and lots of leakage past the exh valves. I am working on my new boat house, so if it drags a week or so more that will be ok, but if I dont have it at the Glen Harbor Marina Summer Bash... I dont want to even think of it.

Just got back from Perf marine. I have some more setbacks but nothing serious. The cog system turned out nice. I may post some pics but am pretty tired right now. So we made a run to @ 5,600 rpm's we wanted to bring it up a little at a time and make adjustments as we went. after reviewing the run we felt we would need to switch to race fuel or lower the boost. Not having any more pulleys, and not wanting to waist time with race fuel as it was obvious my goal was met and I could do it easily without race fuel, I opted to overnight a few pulleys. Right now we have a 73T crank and a 50T blower pulley, it made 15.2# of boost @ 5250 rpm and was climbing. I ordered a 56T and 58T blower pulley.
Originally looking for 1000hp so built for 1200 hoping to be above 1000, is better than shooting for 1000 and ending up @ 900.
Remember again the motor is built to run 6400 rpm. with a 6800 (conservative) red line,
This is what I got with just a rough base tune that was lean I am sure we could have rung out 50-75hp more at the same rpm's with a little fuel enrichment. I will do 500 rpm increments, maybe I will take a pic of the dyno sheet tomorrow.

The 58T blower pulley should make 15# of boost @ 6400, I predict that will give me 1150-1200hp @ 6400. Plenty enough in fact the Tq and Hp it is making now should be enough to get the boat to 120mph. I will post an update after the pulleys get in and maybe some pics tomorrow.
I am pretty happy, but as Johnny Saris said it is not gonna be a sleeper.... The M5 makes some noise..
