I have a bunch of props but the diameter will not work with my standard SCX and -3 lower. I need a custom smaller diameter to clear the skeg. Not sure what you have, but if you have the smaller diameter props I would love to have them available for testing.

Even I wonder if I am making some of this stuff up.... Today went ok, the good news the pump was the ticket no more than a few tenth of a pound change and it was up and down, no loss. Im very pleased, bad news is more setbacks. We changed one bank of injectors 96's to 120's, tore apart the other bank and wa la.... check out the packing slip. I had to take a picture because I couldn't believe it either.... We called everywhere no injectors and the back order is 4-5 weeks. called Kinsler EFI, they found one and are sending it overnight. We'll see when we get it. But can you believe it... send them all or none. frustrating... so tomorrow the drive gears get set up 1.36, and we are going to step up the Procharger some. It is making 15.1@ 6500, with the 70Tcrank and 58T blower, I have a 56T blower pulley I want to try while its on the dyno. With the taller drive gears looks like I can afford to run the motor a little slower, hence cranking up the boost some. Without fine tuning and without the 120# injectors we did a pull to make sure the fuel system was up to the task and did not drop off which as I mentioned it did a great job. I recorded the numbers,

6/9/2010, 70T crank, 58T blower.
RPM Tq HP Boost
3600 767 525 5.3
4500 941 803 7.8
5000 967 916 9.3
5500 964 1004 11.3
6000 935 1063 13.9
6500 873 1083 15.1

I expect to get a few more HP/TQ dialing the fuel in some with the 120# injectors, and some more with the 56T blower pulley. Any guesses on how much more boost with the 56T blower pulley?
These are corrected numbers, the last set I posted were uncorrected Here they are corrected For a past pull
with the 73t crank and 50t blower spinning the blower much faster
RPM TQ HP
3500 801 533
4000 934 709
4500 1029 877
5000 1082 1026 15psi
5500 1110 1159*****
5600 1104 1174*****

**** everything past here I was at the top of the graph, obvious is was still making more boost The 15psi started about 5250rpm. I guess @ 5600 it might have been @ 17psi, extrapolating from other pulls from 5250 to 5600 made about 2psi more., that's about 6psi more than the set up now @ 5600..
We will see how the 56t blower pulley does. I tried the 73T/56 and 58T but do not have the pull info with me.. Sorry, If I remember right it was about 1100hp @ 6000 and 1000tq, 15psi@ 6000rpm. Well we will have to wait until tomorrow the 70/56 is about the same as the 73/58.if it does not detonate and makes 1000tq and 1100 or Hp I will be happy, I guees another # or so boost. Actually I better be happy getting it in the boat, before June 25th... Big party... looking good though, I have faith.

thats another custom bracket for the regulator.
And if you look close there is another bracket in the front on pic from the intake to the blower bracket to supprt it some more from flexing. the brackets will get Purple imron like the other brackets and intake. im beat, 9+ hours of driving to Performance marine and back, and they are having the Americacade... i love bikes but when your not on vacation following 20 or so @ 40mph and there is no chance to pass... Well you know. There is 20 random smudges in the pavement on rte 8, lol.. No really i understand, they are a great group of bikers. Hope the weather gets better for them this weekend.

You would be like me, an award a day, or thrown off the lake. You should post a video of one of the dyno pulls, so we can hear the rumble.

I took the cam corder but we only made one run to see if the fuel pump was going to work. We decided to wait for the 120# injectors for any more tuning. I am back in watkins glen, Jason is going to finish up the tuning and hope to have it in the water for some fine tuning before Tuesday

120# injectors are in, much better more head room. putting the 56T pulley on top. Gears are out of the lower, the pinion bearing is something interesting IMCO said they do not use that style and is sending a drawing of how the shaft needs to be turned down so the merc bearing can be installed, with everything else.... Just the weirdest stuff. Glad Jason has a nice machine shop.. Anyway the motor runs really good, starts great still another few cold starts to get it dialed, you only get one of them a day.. but I can fine tune in the boat. With God willing the motor is going in Sunday. I hope to be water testing Monday-Tuesday.
I did some dock work on my slip at the Showboat, installed mooring whips getting ready for the big event the 26th.. my boat house at my marine is coming along, maybe I will get a picture today..... All I need is a boat..
