[QUOTE=DonRoc;3133945]120# injectors are in, much better more head room. putting the 56T pulley on top. Gears are out of the lower, the pinion bearing is something interesting IMCO said they do not use that style and is sending a drawing of how the shaft needs to be turned down so the merc bearing can be installed, with everything else.... Just the weirdest stuff. Glad Jason has a nice machine shop.. Anyway the motor runs really good, starts great still another few cold starts to get it dialed, you only get one of them a day.. but I can fine tune in the boat. With God willing the motor is going in Sunday. I hope to be water testing Monday-Tuesday.
Good old Murphy. Did you check and see how much of that 120 you're using. Mr Gadgets may have some useful input on that bearing.

The fuel curve is set, with 12.5 to 1 AFR it made 1122hp @ 6500rpm. with the 58T pulley. The 56T pulley made 3psi more but only 40hp, which we all know is due to a intake made to build low end torque and driveability with a cam designed for the same. So we are keeeping the 58T in it. We dialed the fuel curve to a safer 12.2 and got 1117hp@ 6500. Thats where it will stay for now. 1 more cold test in the AM it starts great cold and warm now, but one last cold start test in the morning. I could go more cam and larger throttle body and make much more power but really I am past my goal of 1000hp and I am sure this will be plenty of hP for this season. Now I can consintrate on running the boat and getting some seat time at 115+ in a hull designed for offshore racing @ 85. Remember my goal was 110-115 pretty sure it will be more like 120... I will post more when I get it on the water.

With these custom builds there is always something to slow you down. I got tired of posting I was going to run it and more issues would come up. So now motor is in, exhaust fitted had to move the holes some, the water system plumed, helm and pwr steering bled, prop on, the new SCX had to be clearanced some for the prop. intake manifold rear water bleeds hooked up thru the transom, stand alone intercooler pickup hooked up, plumed and over the side. oil changed, supercharger oil changed, motor ran on the hose ran 15-20 minutes to check everything out, no leaks ready to go. The plan is to splash it first thing in the morning. cross you fingers I am ready to put this in the water and have some fun. I am going to say once its done it will be done, I spared no expense and did it right. I am stuck with the 34 Bravo prop brett set up for me to use with the SCX/-3 lower, that was when we guessed 1000hp and 1.5 gears, now over 1100hp and 1.36 gears. I have until my event is over June 25-27th. I dont dare send it out and be without a prop for the weekend. Any guess on speed.... I hope to see 115 at least. @ 5500 with 13% slip its 113, @ 6400 its 132. It makes over 1100hp from 5900-6500, and near 1000 ft/lbs torque from 4500-6000. If I can pull above 5500 with this prop I will be happy for the weekend and send it back to Brett (BBlades) when im done for some prop tuning. should know soon... I wont be able to sleep.

Sounds like a lot of work, if it were a cat I would say 120.

If I remember it weighted #4600, is about 7.5' beam and 27' wetted surface. The last 2' is swim platform. We did the same hull with the same dyno which read about 850 hp it ran 102-104gps. Mine with 625hp ran 90 last year. I plugged in all the numbers and came up with 119 for mine.. Hope to let you know today, something at least
