Default Drive Lube Gunk... Goo... Crap!!!

Well I was told that my boat had been serviced 20 hours ago, but from what I'm finding they did a crappy job or it was longer than that. Drained my drive fluid today and it was pretty dark, then went to the drive lube monitor bottle and found about 3/4" of very thick sludge. Took the bottle apart and cleaned it up. Blew the hose out that goes to the drive it was clogged with goo. It was so gooey and nasty while I was unscrewing the bottle I did not see what order the parts came off in. I've been looking for a good breakdown of the parts inside the bottle but can't find one? What I have is the bottle then on the outside the sensor ( that I guess senses low fluid level) a rubber gasket, then on the inside a washer a thin nut and a 1" tall white plastic float like thing. Anyone know the order of things on the inside? Should be a bunch of fun putting it together thru the filler hole??? Any ideas?

Click mercruiserparts, and drill down to your setup for a parts schematic.

Just buy a new bottle. The old one will probably leak or start leaking shortly.

Not if it's changed every year. I've had no problems with the hi-po merc fluid.
