I have used Seafoam for several years. Started using it for my Motorcycle. I choose it because of the added feature advertised that it was a rust preventive. When the gas tank on a new bike started to rust I looked for an additive to combat Ethanol. It did reduce and the eliminate the dust rust that had been visible. The negative thing that I see, is a lot of etching of the internal metal parts, such as the shut off valve, fuel bowl and carb. A real cleaner !
Some one ,unverified, said that it contains acetone. Anyone MS on it ?
I have now switched to another product from Power Resource Inc. nothing to report yet
