Default 502 mag ecu relocate

I am putting on headers and wondering if anyone has ever relocated the ecu/bravo drive oil reservoir on a gen 6 502 mag? I am thinking the reservoir may need to be high (where it is) for gravity to do it's thing. And wondering of the ecu has cables running that don't have enough length to reroute somewhere else? I think it would be cleaner if it was moved, but could just give in and have brackets welded on my headers. I wanted to see of anyone else had tried it before I go unwrapping cable wraps to see.

Another idea was a bracket to mount the ecu off of the engine somewhere where it is instead of off the header.
Thx
Larry

Mount the bottle on the transom and the ecu on the back of the cylinder heads

I would get the bracket welded to the header for the ECM. That is how mine is on my CMI's.
It does not look like any extra length in the wiring harness with certain wires going one direction and other wires going another direction.
I would mount the drive lube bottle on the transom.

Thx!

There are actually threaded bunges welded to the header and then a plate bolts to the bunges.
The plate has holes tapped for mounting the ECM plate to it.

I am familiar with the mounting to header. I was looking for an alternative that would look cleaner

The problem is what was stated ."the wires are only so long and go in different directions from original mounting point" .
If you don't mind dealing with the harness ,you can mount it under your bow light if you want. I'm obviously being sarcastic. But the wiring to ecm is the issue
