my Velocity had white Ultra-Leather (vinyl) as a headliner and I really liked it as it was easy to clean. My Concept has fuzzy carpet on walls and headliner, was thinking about replacing it with thin padding and white vinyl, like my Velocity had. If you go the vinyl route, you can go to a Joann Fabrics to get the vinyl. If you get on their mailer they send 40% off coupons all the time (or find someone already receiving the coupons) Some times they have the coupon in their add as well..

I think vinyl will be a little tougher to install then carpet and show many more flaws that i may be able to hide if i do carpet. My walls are already vinyl so i think the roof would be fine in white carpet. thanks for the help.

you need a paint-on adhesive. spray-on won't hold.

Vinyl top adhesive contact cement It comes in a gallon.
Spray can won't last the summer heat.
I just can't see you rolling it on the headliner and then putting it up.
You need to move fast when doing it.
And you will need 8' wide headliner or you will have a seem down the center that's ok to you want it to look good tight seem.
Use a spray gun.

Perfectfit on the west coast and Miamicorp on the east coast have good prices on the bunny fuzz (aka mouse fur). If there was a glued headliner you're looking to replace, absolutely key is removing ALL of the old adhesive. New over old will generate a real mess that won't last but a few weeks. Many contact adhesives work best when not following label directions. For instance, Dap Landau and Trim Adhesive, one of the best long-lasting high heat and humidity adhesives, works really well if you spray both surfaces and let dry overnight. Then, apply the fabric with a heat gun to re-activate the glue. I've never done bunny fuzz so don't know how it handles heat from a gun, but foam-backed vinyl works really well with this method.
