Just take a piece of steel that will lay across the top past the ears, with a pin (bolt) that will drop in the hole on top.

Since you have disc brakes now, the standard lockout has it's limitations. You can't be going down hill, or have came to a complete stop and just put truck into reverse and expect to backup. Your trailer will still have some line pressure in the lines, and disc brakes don't free wheel like drums. You gotta bleed off that pressure. For $10 over the standard line lock, pick up the deluxe model. It bleeds off the line pressure, so you can go into reverse w/o any need to pull forward 1st to ge the hitch to extend back out, something not possible when you is fac'n downhill But you will need to have a return line back to your MC, either by tapping into the side or using a cap for such a critter.
