Default request for anybody removing the thermostats

Anybody out there who removes their t-stats when winterizing and still have to do it? If so i'd like to request if you can take some pictures or video of the process (particularly 454's). I'd like to do it that way next year but don't know where to start. Thanks

Are you asking how to remove the thermostat?

That doohickey that looks like a faucet next to "forced induction", the thermostat is in there. You will need new gaskets and will need to note the orientation of the thermostat when you pull it. Probably a good idea to just replace it, providing you don't know the age of the current one. Temp should be stamped on the thermostat in teeny tiny numbers.
Winterization process is the same, guys pull them so they don't have to warm the motor on the hose. Added benefit of the ability to push more antifreeze into the motor when putting the t-stat back in.

Sorry, I have no pictures for you.

That sounds doable. Will winterize that way next year and change out the stats while I'm at it. Thanks
