Hey Dave do you mean under the rear seat bench? If so it has speaker holes in it but its clean. Its in florida but I can probably get a picture tomorrow. I'm sure the skin I got will work fine by just extending a few inches, but it might look a bit funny when its done. So a new skin with to match won't hurt!

Update!! Almost done....

Ended up using "dry" marine plywood that a friend had at Marine store they use for transoms, etc. Figured it lasted this long, I also glassed most of it anyway for good measure.

Done!!!!

Ok, well, most of my winter projects are done!! Both pivot pins and redoing the hatch. Now, all I have left is swapping amps and changing some seals on my trailer tires that are leaking after only 2 seasons on all new bearings.
I posted all these pics as I could not find any pics or YouTube videos of this project. Hope it helps anyone thinking about doing it. Easy job, just time consuming.... But that's what I enjoy, rather than my hectic day job!!

Success!!! Wife helped me put it back on boat and I used straps and a 2x4 to hold it up so I could get the screws back into the hinges!! Luckily, we finally had a small wind blowing today!

Now I have to change amp and get new seals for trailer and start cleaning!!!!
What will get the rust stains off the back of the engine compartment? I used to get rust runs from the old t nuts when water used to drain out the hatch.
