Anyone know a trailer manufacturer anywhere in Texas, Louisiana or Oklahoma where I can find new triple axle fenders (9x102x17) in 14 ga. steel? Plenty of places for aluminum fenders, but I would rather have steel. Every place I have found is on the west coast.

Check out McClain Trailers. They have places in LA and TX, but not sure on steel fenders.

You could also look at Greyhound freight shipping.

Any good fab shop should be able to build a set pretty easily.

Thanks. What I have found out from most of those places is they don't really carry anything more than tandem axle stuff. Not to say they don't, but most of the trailer places like that don't really cater to triple axle stuff, at least in their websites. I will check with them and find out. You just reminded me to check with Trailer Wheel and Frame and see what they have as well.

Thanks, but I used McClain one time several years ago and won't ever use them again. However, I seem to remember them having mostly aluminum and galvanized steel fenders. Almost all of the trailer manufacturers anywhere near the gulf coast use nothing but aluminum.

I haven't ever heard of Greyhound shipping. Will check that out if I have to go that route. I just used Fastenal 3PL to ship freight from NY to Houston and they were pretty reasonable and fast. They were a great alternative to the big freight haulers and much cheaper. The long fenders can't ship UPS or FedEx, so they have to be shipped via a freight line.
